• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

XTra Xtra read all about it!!!

wow ...Time passes by quickly ...

Good luck on the next few rides while you get your riding-bearings back in place ... Seems I get rusty if I stay off the bike more than 3 days ...

You saw it here first.....

Tomorrow Im really riding my TE300 for the first time with a naked wrist!!

( I did ride it with my cast on at the Anza West Chec Enduro to the first check

it wasnt too boring......one of our crew had his h cam, we will wait and see how it is, we are back to dust from last weeks rain. bike ran great the suspension crew may have got the forks to the 90th % of perfect. the rear is only with heavier spring,, my spring rates are .51 and 6.1, the Suspension101/Smart set up is with heavier ride high in stroke springs with very open flow valve stacks,,,,I thought my speed would be nominal but truth is we were railing today. He/they may have nailed my 4CS set up. after more time I may open up the valving on the shock, for now I will go full open HSCD (currently at 1.5). and next time out do the clicker shuffle. I think my float height is still a little high- I have lots of fuel/oil in my skid plate.

What's HSCD? Glad you like the suspension and I'm sure this will help a ton of people set up the new Husky's. That bikes still damn near brand new, be nicer to it then that Beta ;)

2 short but sweet hot temp rides in. over did it a little yesterday in the work on fork set up, I slammed bottom hard on 2 times this is with .51 springs (S101/Smart valve mod) installed shock has a 6.1 spring on it (OEM valves)..... added comp clicks 2 at a time, I need to to do a recount of all my settings as I never remember where they are after clicking away. I do know I opened the LSCD on the shock as well as slowed the REB on the shock, forks all I did was add + COMP clicks.
