• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

X games enduro cross, husky brings the A team!

The 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship will have extensive TV exposure in the coming weeks. It will start with the original airing of the opening round from Las Vegas on the Lucas Motorsports Hour on the NBC Sports Channel this Saturday, June 23rd at 4:30 PM Eastern. Then on Sunday, July 1st, Enduro X will be part of X Games 18 and air on ESPN 2 at 9:00 PM Eastern. One week later, on Sunday, July 8th, the Sacramento event will air on the Lucas Motorsport Hour on the NBC Sports Channel at 5:00 PM Eastern.

Don't forget Salvini is here too. But I have a hard time seeing the euros finish in front of Redmond and Graffunder for this event. Should be a great show to watch. I have tickets for right in front of the start.

Took some pics out at Glen Helen thurs.

I've only attended a enduro cross event once in Indy, great event great promoter! I wish we had one closer to the Midwest. X games round is easily the most popular. Have a great time and take pics!

This one event has the potential to give more exposure to the masses ( the mass of young (and older) Americans coast to coast) about Husqvarna than ~5yrs of all the enduro type racing across the entire USA combined ... Great to see this is happening ....

Your right, even if Husky just races in the main, the presence of the euro's will hog the spotlight. Meaning great exposure for the brand. I'm very curious to see what they will ride? 3 speed 310's or 300 2t's?

ya im kinda pissed about them posting it was goin to be at 8pm and having it the last thing they show, i want to say they pulled the same crap last year.

What, you didn't enjoy the 45 minutes of :censored: skateboarding videos??? haha

No, I did not enjoy the 6 hours of skateboarding they showed that day. My TiVo cut off both the women's and men's finals. I had to search the web for a low rez version I could watch. It was so bad, I couldn't read the split times - they were too fuzzy.

But... GOOD JOB, CORY! Woot! Husky on the box!
