  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc WR360 NOW WITH RECLUSE Z START PRO

Great work, but I have to ask couldn't you just have installed the rekluse in the 360 basket with 7 plates?
The billet 4 stroke cover from bill's just has a threaded oil check hole with a bolt. The site glass is convenient, but since having had them break on 2 bikes now, I'd prefer the hole.

The centre hub of the Recluse needs 8 plates to work.
Here is a pic with 7 plates in it, not high enough to have the recommended installed gap under the pressure plate. 1 more plate was the ticket to achieve the correct gap.

If you look at pic 1 with 360 basket, the fingers of the basket have a Vee cut into them & are just touching the pressure plate, which I didnt think would last long under a shock load. In pic 5 the extra height on the basket covers more of the pressure plate & is reinforced by the solid design of the 250 basket fingers.

oh and do you know the logic of the smaller powered bike having an extra plate in? to me thats backwards.

I think that maybe it's the abuse that the 250 clutch would get as it revs harder. Add another plate & steel & not only does the clutch have more rotating mass but the clutch as a whole would run cooler.
The 360 has so much more torque it doesnt need to be reved as hard.

Hi! I need Help, i broke my clutch basket of a 2002 wr250, which other clutch basket fit??
from other husky? or other brand? HELP!!
