  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st WR300 snapped swinging arm, pics inside!

I took some dimensions and were getting the other one measured to check whats what. I know the axle is smaller and the caliper may be different but he has one of those so maybe swap that too. I will let everyone know.

Not sure on the linkage issue, but use the spacers for a 2000 250/360 if you end up fitting a 2000-earlier swingarm. They fit inside the 25mm wheel bearings, but with a reducer that allows them to be used for a 20mm Axle (pre-2000 models).

Theres a few on the bay fanging from sm570 to wr 125's so if you manage to work out what bananas what...
If you be needing me to measure my swinger for you wr360 2002 may help point you in direction of replacment.

Cheers bud, 4 strokes and 125's have the chain on the wrong side, its got to be a 250+ two stroke. I think the 1999 one will fit but needs different wheel spacers and a smaller axle or the slots milled out by 5mm.

If anyone is interested I fitted the 1999 CR250 swing arm to the 2010 WR300. The only difference was the slots for the rear axle were 5mm too narrow so the options were to swap the rear axle and spaces to 20mm or mill the slots out to match the 2010 dimensions, seeing the rest of the swing arm was identical and we milled out the slots to the newer spec and jobs a goodun it bolts up perfectly. Everthing else fits, brake caliper, chain slider etc etc. Happy days.
