So I replaced my factory dash with a trailtech unit after the mounts snapped.
At the same time I removed and disconnected all the road running gear (except the headlight).
Now I want to start doing some enduro events and possibly the odd road ride down the local shops, I need to hook up everything.
Everything seems ok, rear brake light is fine off the foot and hand lever. Didn't notice the rear plate light but the headlight worked fine still so presuming that is fine also. Only thing not working is the indicators. The switch block did feel a bit crusty (dirt and grime), so gave that a heft dose of WD40 which freed it up bit, still not perfect but a lot better.
So my question is, could not having the factory does plugged/wired effect it? I had a thought perhaps the indicators pass through the dash (for notification lights), so maybe that's not completing the circuit?
Any help?
Cheers,
Tim
