  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc wr 360 conrod kit 2002 are available

juicypips

Husqvarna
Pro Class
hay anyone intersted on a conrod kit for late wr 360's they are available from pro x in usa for £105 plus vat

or you can get a ktm one 54730015000 i got this fitted inc vat for £199
they still have them in stock its for a ktm 360/380 97 check link im sure you could get them cheaper but mine was fubar.
every measurment was spot on the pin for the crank is shorter but plenty in the crank sides.

good luck kids

that is correct they are identical:thumbsup: , apart from the hole in the little end its not there on the ktm.
thats for the 2002 360 you say they were the same apart from the 92 so i can only guess it must fit all the newer ones bar the 92.

the ktm box says :- CONR. REP. KIT 360/380 135MM '97
54730015000

aside from the 92 the 360 engine shares most everything through the run, the cylinder was changed for torque in 96 or 97, but that's about it
you said the big end pin was short?
the 360 and 380 share a rod?
so what is the correct pin length for the Husky

The ktm big end pin is about 5mm shorter so its recessed in either end of my crank a few mill.
i cant see an issue with this.
i will let you know if i grenade the bottom end in the future.
yes the ktm 360 and 380 have the same rod i assume its made 20cc bigger by the bore not the stroke.

found another link more clear 2 premo

5mm is not an issue as it has to do with a design and KTM is not slack
did the rod need any mods aside from the slight recess,
add the hole to the small end?
was the width of the ends the same?
you can get them in the US for 139US

bargin, no ive not modded anything small ends the same width and i think there will be pleny of room for oil to get to the small end, i didnt fancy drilling through the small end and having to deburr the hardend surface, personally dont recommend anyone doing that as may cause more issues than its worth.

thought i may have stumbled upon a nugget of gold as the husky oem arnt available, ive not used pro x so ktm oem cant be that bad, i think ive just brought my 360 into 2014 as a ktm varient.

oh it was literally identical apart from the slighty smaller pin that was it.

you have just succeeded to connect yourself to the 2014 KTM/Husqaberg model blend over
you won a gold star in the process please send check or money order to receive this

i cant find any ProX rodkit for KTM 360 or WR360??

My first post here, i have a WR250 -07 and i just bought a WR360 -93 to make a 6-speed transplant to the 250, but if i can rebuild the 360 maby i transplant the whole engine:)

No its a genuine ktm one that im using from a 1997 ktm
Check with a ktm dealer they should be able to put you
In the right direction.
If your still stuck pm me we can discuss me sending one to you

250's a good motor i would stick with that as a six speed.
But whatever suits your in the right place for help

Thanks, dealers here in sweden charge over 400 usd for that rodkit..
the 360 needs new nicasil also, so i will put the parts on the shelf for now and go with the 250.

I have a set of supermoto Wheels i´m going to fit, that is the reason for 6-speed, and i will se if the 250 have Power enough for the street..

250's got grunt and alot more topend.
Should be a good street machine just not full
Throttle for prolonged periods.

Lol 7am here just off to work, turbo? Why bother just run supercharger from the flywheel an be done with it
