  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc wr 250 bearings

The parts manual for this bike will have the exact size of the bearings for the wheels in it and you can go to any bearings store and buy them ... Or just carry the old bearings to the store and they can match them up for you ...

which are the #for wheel bearings front and rear for a 2007 wr 250.example 6202 etc.

Front 2 x 61905-2RS (25x42x9)
Rear 2 x 6005-2RS (25x47x12)
1 x 63005-2RS1 (25x47x16) This one is bloody expensive if you buy good quality.
Alternative is just to buy kit with seals and bearings which are shitty Chinese bearings but very much cheaper and just replace them more often.
I think Pivot Works is better than All Balls.

I noticed you created 2 identical threads but with 2 different prefixes.

I went ahead and deleted the duplicate.

think that should be 6905 for the front bearings.[2RS or ZZ]
On the rear if you are jammed[bearing store closed or out of stock] on the wide bearing for the rear brake caliper side you can deal with it by using two 6005 and an inner race from a used front 6905 on the outside as a spacer, instead of the stock aluminum spacer

I might be able to use some of your expertise here:

2RS means rubber sealed bearing on both sides, and ZZ means steel sealed bearing, I have ALL BALLS on dirt and supermoto wheels installed (2006 WR 250) and are good price/quality ratio.

61905 and 6905 will both work as they are both 25mm x 42mm x 9mm. I was using the SKF 61905.
