  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

will report back of coarse. the berg demo will be weekend after next the TXC demo whenever it gets here. Should be interesting to say the least.

I am ready to plop my money down on the TXC 250 to give me two new and very good bikes in the garage. You can't let a break down stop you from riding. I can't wait to hear the ride reports on the new 250's. If they are half as good as they look they will be phenomenal.

I was looking at that 390 berg at Taskys today when i picked up my 610. Such a sweet machine, from the talk with Jeff about it it could be my next trail bike, i like the husky 310 too decisions hmm.
 
Me too. My 390 is enroute right now. I hope it arrives before the weekend so I can get it together.
 
Anyone want to share rumors of arrivals dates for the new 250's?

Word has it they are 'on the boat' but thats about it as far as i know.

I was told first shipment is all 250's and should be later this month or early next. 450's and 510's are due end of the year. This comes from Malcom Smith Motorsports.

hmmm... guess i will know when it gets here. That would actually be good as I need to get up on the whole EFI thing.
 
I got to ride Russ's 08 TE 250/Athena 300 bike. WOW! It was like taking a break, but faster at the same time. I see a next generation (2010 +) TXC as my next bike!
