  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Who doesnt like the existing tank option for the 09 Range?

Sandgroper

Husqvarna
AA Class
Im considering producing my own subject to public demand and setup costs which I am currently investigating.

Let me know the capacity you would prefer and if the standard design used on other bikes with saddle style tanks such as on the Honda 450X IMS tank.

Currently I think the tank option for the 09 range is pathetic and even more so the design they have gone with.

Name the model/year of your bike as well
;)

I have an 08 TXC250 and would like a 3.0 gallon option that can be used with a motosportz sub mount steering damper.

Later,

I have 09 te310. I would be happy if i had a two gollon tank. And you could still use original tank shroud. I dont think that too much to ask for.

1.9 to 2 gallons...that's silly.

I keep telling you guys there is a guy in so Calif who makes custom tanks for a living Almost every flat track racer out there uses him Plus a lot of custom Harley to
He told me for about 500 dollars he would make a tank for the 2009 125 or other dirt bikes

Put down his contact info. I'm assuming...aluminum tanks...correct?

Tell him to build them and we will buy them, we have been SHOUTING for tanks for years and no one cares. My TXC250 holds 1.5 gallons and goes 40 miles. That's about half of a typical day in the summer for me. :banghead:

A 3.0 gallon tank specific to the WR/CR125 would be fantastic. Fill in the huge empty space below the OE tank.

The only thing stopping me for getting the 2010 WR125 is the small tank. Yeah, I know a custom built aluminum tank could be made, but I'm not spending $500 for Husky's design oversight.
