  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Looking to send out my suspension on my 2013 wr125 for a re valve and springs if needed for New Jersey tight woods, roots and sugar sand

I have looked at W.E.R, Factory Connection, Zip Ty and Stillwell

want someone that knows the sachs shock and how to tune for the east coast

Look into LTR in Port Orchard Washington. Les is the man for all husky suspension jobs. He nailed the revalve on my kyb forks and Sachs shock for my '11 wr 300 on the first shot. Revalved for tight woods riding and racing which should be very similar to east coast terrain. I'm very happy with his work.

i don't know squat about this but given locals i'd use W.E.R. at least the shipping should be less word on here is Drew's has his act together

everybody you listed is probably capable of doing an excellent job. given your location and the ability to go speak with him in person wer is a no-brainer to me. altho drew will gladly speak to you on the phone as well. myself and others have gotten one week turn arounds in slower times, not sure you get that with others.

LTR did a great job on my 09 WR250 50mm zokes and sachs shock. He was a long way from MO but worth it for me. He will get more work from me in the future.

I'll also join the chorus for LTR. Western Washington is filled with slippery root filled single track and Les has that down pat.

I had Motörhead re shim the suspension for my 2013 CR125 with very good results. No more deflecting off of everything in the woods. Very satisfied. Just thought I would throw it out there.
