• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

When's the new website coming?

Was near done, then went another route (data base) for the products and virtually started over. I promise I have been working on it :D

First page is still very much a work in progress (just a place to stat the navigation at this point) Feedback is welcome for the look but there is no content really yet.

- If anyone has a great E-commerce / cart solution that does not cost a ton and is EZ to use and simple I'm all ears. Needs paypal integration.

Looking good so far.....I think you'll get alot more biz when you break things down to specific models. It'll be great to see everything available for that particular bike......I'm stoked!

You could use http://www.ecwid.com/ it's a crazy easy way to build a shopping cart yourself. You could also use a theme like http://demo2.woothemes.com/woostore/ or http://demo2.woothemes.com/argentum/ or http://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/LeanBiz/ or http://elegantthemes.com/preview/eStore/ and then just customize the colors and add your own header, etc. I'm a web designer and can help with any of that if you want. If you wanted something totally custom or even just some help with your current site, I'm willing to help for cheap or even trade. The benefit of using a wordpress theme is that it's very simple for you to use and upgrade down the road. I can also make you a custom database driven system that's very simple since it looks like you already have "some" html experience.

Good stuff, thanks. Might take you up on it.

I visit your site often. I am a fan of your products and service. A new website would be awesome!
