  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Whats Supplied With New 2011 Te310? (canadian Market)

LBM.

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hi folks! I should be picking up my new 2011 te310 from the dealer later this week (coming from a 2003 KLX400R) what pieces are supplied with the bike? I want to be sure that all parts are present. Is there a owners manual on paper? 50 tooth sprocket but what about chain?
Thanks, Lorenzo

I got a 40T & 50T rear sprocket & a 2nd chain.
No manual on paper, but a (poor) manual ona cool usb stick.
No tools at all :-(
Dealer did the power-up mods at no cost, but left the goofy smog can for me to 'lose'.
An exhaust spark-arrestor also came seperate, so I installed it.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Thanks for the reply, picked up the bike on thursday, Beautiful machine!
50 tooth sprocket
full chain (my reason for this thread) dealer said I was getting a few links with a extra master, was good to see
paper owners manual (called a Quick manual) in 5 languages, lacks a lot of info but good to have)
USB stick, not checked its data yet
air filter cage
air filter raincoat?
O2 senser plug with wsher
plug in resister
insert for exhaust (will she be louder?)
Nice Husky key ring
various bolts and nuts
both rubber boots from the hand guard installation.

ah, yes, had forgotten those bits; I got most except the paper manual...
dunno what is 'plug in resistor' ?
with a 1000-km the exhaust packs out & not real quiet, but not harley obnoxious either.

I've got mine still completely stock, have not done any of the powerup mods, and am running with the spark arrestor and muffler insert. A little over 2k on the odo. Riding with my daughter at a local area that has a noise restriction and an onsite tech check to make sure people are compliant, so I got him to test for me, thinking I'd have plenty of margin. Site limit is 96dB like most place, bike tested at 95.3dB!! Yep, not real quiet, but "just" legal most places that will care. I expect it gets a bit louder in race mode though? Worth checking if your riding area has a noise restriction.

Cheers

Thanks for the replys,
fasteer, I'am assuming the white plug connector with the heat shrink is the resistor to replace the o2 sensor lead when the "Power-up" is done.
kenf, thanks for info on exhaust, I also will use in semi stock form with restrictors removed for the remainder of this riding season (for warrenty reasons).
** I will try the exhaust inset in place of spark arrestor.
