• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What's hapening in the first National Enduro Race?

Husqvarna
AA Class
Looks like Glenn K. is in last place in the Pro class from the results I have seen so far. Anyone else got any different news ? Did he have a DNF?

It is showing a 13:09 at check number 6. Not sure what happened, anyone back from there yet who knows?

Updated results has Glenn finishing 6th in the pro class. It was Charlie Mullins taken the win followed by Correy Buttrick, Russel Bobbit, Mike Lafferty, Nick Farringer and then our husky boy! Great performance I would say!

The conditions were pretty good, good traction every where with just a little mud in a few places. I rode like a squid. I was on row 9 and wouldn't have thought RB and ML would catch me in each section, but they did. I just sucked wasn't into it today at all. If I had to guess during the race I would have thought ML was beating RB, but I certainly wouldn't have thought they were both getting beat by Buttrick and Mullins. Awesome to see Mullins win, wonder how long he'll remain unsigned.

Wished they had the "Live Timing & Scoring" that the GNCC has. I got the final results from Trials & Enduro News Race Day Live blog before the results were posted on NEPG. Don't know if it was my slow computer or not but I only got the results on NEPG to update one time during the race.

Not a bad start to the season for G.K. and team Husky. 6th place

Quite a few "Fast" guys finished behind Kearney.

Don't forget, GNCC scoring is at the same place, lap after lap. Enduro scoring from one check to another may be miles and miles apart, and not electronically linked -until that checkpoint crew returns to the start area. Just sayin...

they also have to wait an hour after the last rider is due before they can close the check and get the recording device back to the start, does take some time, looks like they get the top pros done as fast as possible
