• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Well, I was looking forward to my bloody 3hrs in the garage drinking, fettling and battering all my new parts onto my 2010 te250. Beer all ready, 6 pack :D, car out and loads of tools.....what a waste of time doing all this work ! :D

last time I done a set of rad guards it was 1hr a side and bashplate that seemed from a space ship but not this time !

tank off, rad guards on, 30 mins both sides ! bugger, only 1/2 A BEER DRUNK, SHIT !

OK bashplate will be a bugger, lots of bits..............nup, 20 mins tops :D

ok, lever, well this is aftermarket, this is sure to take forever as i didn't swap it with bashy off (nugget !) , nup, 5 mins ....bugger me dead ! :D

Wife isn't happy mate, she expected swearing filthy, oily husband, loud music and drunk husband about 10pm but instead got me, with 5 beers back into house after an hour, clean as a whistle and some what deflated :D ! cheers mate !

only issue, lever couldn't settle on same height as OEM removed item, was lower or higher by quite a bit so went higher......see how we go ! bike looks good now and ready for my crash testing ! :D

yeah , I was expecting the same drama as I had with my 05 wr250f ! no such luck, should have just made banging noises and turned the grinder on a few times and just sat drinking hard :D
