    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Warranty problem

I have a 2012 TE 310 That I purchased from Motoxotica in December . Doing service on the bike I was unable to remove the bolts that hold the shrouds to the tank . The inserts in the tank spin bolts will not come out . I contacted Motoxotica (DAN) he called warranty sevices ,They are telling Dan that they will supply tank but cover no labor to change out tank . has anyone else had problems with warranty issues . I was a bit put off by there attitude . If something this minor is so difficult to resolve ,What might happen if problem arose that would take the bike out of service . I have been waiting 2 Months to resolve this . Dan offered to do the labor at no charge But Husqvarna has not supplyed the tank .

They refused to cover the labor on my starter issues, wouldn't replace a completely dead battery after 5 month's 4 of them it was stored inside. They only finally resolved things when I brought up the fact that a motorcycle with a street title mean's in the state of Mass that it's covered under the lemon law and since the bike had been there for several week's they were now going to have to exchange the bike for a new one. That's when things got pretty dam uncomfortable! Haven't been back to Wagner Motorsports since and won't purchase parts from them!
