• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

April 5-6 in Farmington NM. This is a straight up super fun race!! Co sponsored by Webe racing and RMEC enduro club. 3 hour enduro race on Saturday and 2 hour hare scramble on Sunday. Race either one or race both. I've raced this event several times and it is always the highlight season opener. Ii will be there with a few friends. Come and race with us hang out and drink a few brews and have a great weekend.

I really want to do the Monte Vista race with WEBE. I may see you at this race, probably the hare scramble though

The Monte Vista race is a fun one also. Trees, rocks, sandy beaches, and water crossings. It's got a good mix.
I'm not going to lie, the water crossings do it. I'll go back and fourth if I even find a puddle lol. Did you know the national enduro is going to Grand Junction in August?

We have so many great series here, it's kind of like a smaller CA (without all the rules ;) ). I'd choose the WEBE race for that one because you said it's an hour shorter, an hour and a half at CORCS kicks my butt lol. I've fought the idea of a dual sport but I may have to make something street legal with the rides you keep posting up :)

LOM, I think we should do it! I can get us free lodging in Pagosa Springs which would get us within 2.5 hrs from the race. It would also be cool to finally meet Clay.

Can you help us out here Clay? Everyone here calls that track "The Dunes". Tire selection is critical for this race and I hear they will axe you if you show up with anything resembling a paddle or sand specific tire. What about the Motoz Terrapactor MX tires I got from you?

I'm not sure about the paddle tire ban but you wouldn't want to run one anyway. True there are a lot of big dunes to climb and bomb down as well as sand washes. The course also goes up on some ridges that are pretty hard pack and rocky. I use the terrapactor rear with enduro st front. I have also run enduro st rears no problem but prefer the terrapactor.
