• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Video link to video that I made at the Bearcreek Sportsman and the Ridgeriders charity ride for Art Tompkins son Louie. Dec. 13th 2009.

I had the opportunity to ride on much of the WEC 06 and 07 course (WOW!) There was about 8 inches of snow and as if on que, it began to snow when the ride started. There was a SnowCross track and Drew Smith showed us some of the gnarliest stuff used in the WEC and encouraged the most daring. He had that WR125 screaming.

Heres some footage.

No slow riders (me) were harmed in the making of this video.

Enjoy,
Joe

Nice vid! Rugby players Joe! The greatest insult you can give a rugby player is call them a soccer/football player.:busted::cheers:

That place looked difficult enough without the snow in '07. Could not imagine riding it in the snow. Those rocks must have been a little sketchy. Excellent Video, Thanks for posting.

Great video, but I had to mute the soundtrack immediately.

Sorry......music suggestions for future videos?
the theme song for "Terms of Endearment"?
Adagio for strings in F minor (theme song from "Platoon")?
Bily Ray Cyrus "Achy Breaky Heart"?
maybe any good Polka? (is ther one?)
It is not trials so the music has to have some "kick" factor;
ripping throgh the trees and rocks is a symphony of "elegant chaos" when done to excess.

Seriously....I am open to suggestions since this is a Family channel.

Not everyone likes or can tolerate opera:eek:...or hard core music.

Some like to watch a video with no music, sub titles etc. Just the sound of the engine nothing more.

I say show us what you got cuz I love them all.

Variety is the spices of life.

Great Video Joe

Thank you for sharing.
