• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Video National H&H Rd 9

What are you talking about? Just a few miles past the start it was clear sailing for over 90 miles. Better then any motocross track where you go around in a circle never getting to far from your truck. There is no other form of motorcycle racing in the USA that offers you more
and different types of terrain. From desert to trees and everything in between then the National Hare&Hounds
As for the sprinklers check out the Panaca round from last year where we got pounded by rain and hail. Or the Utha round where it was a snow storm It is all for fun

i take it the sprinkler system wasnt working

It was dusty for the pro's out front I heard. 2:10 hill climb looked kind of gnar, I saw it from the ground level in one of Mark's picutures. What was up with the gas pour at 6:20? 14:40 downhill looked fun. 20:30 my fav, home stretch.

It has told at all the riders instructions that loop 1 was 59 miles with a alt at 23 At the alt gas ONLY official course workers would be there. The worker would hand you your gas and you were to pour it in your self. It was this way for everyone. The workers at the alt gas had to stay there until sweep came thru. I did not want to send in a quick fill and then have to wait till after the race to get it back . I wanted to leave right after the race and go to sacramento and see my mom and sisters for dinner The poor young alt gas worker did not understand a dry break. But it all worked out ok.
