  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

it's small but were growing (i'm one of the organizers) .
just so you know husky have been selling bikes in israel only since 2008,
all we had till then was yamaha wr's and the ktm road legal line up (exc's).
funny but at a time of bad economy we have growth
we now have in israel:
yamaha
ktm
husky
gas gas
hmmoto
and there are rumors of tm coming soon

i'll keep posting the videos

That looks like a lot of fun! I watched all the races. Can't wait for the next one! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Cool Video. I saw a Husaberg out there too. What Forrest is that in Israel?

forgot about the bergs, but it's realy a bike is it? more like a gimik...:D
last year's E3 champ changed from ktm to husaberg and hasn't won a race since.

it's called biria forest, northern part of the country.

Hagai, nice to see you are doing some PR worldwide...
Yes, our races are getting better each time, and needless to say that the variety of terrain we have in such a small country is a true gift.
Our E3 championship is going to husky this year, even before last race. E1 champ will be crowned upon last race results, but its inbetween Husky and KTM.

The Aprilia rider looks like a decent rider and his bike looks good. Just from the video you could kinda figure out it's well setup for that type of trail. very moto style. I like :applause:

maybe I'm totally wrong...:excuseme:

gestion01, you are absolutely right. The Aprillia guy is our E2 champ. He swaped the championship with 7 out of 8 overall wins, where the last race (a week ago) he was leading surely the race, and had a fuel pump fuse burned at the last special test. Still won the championship, as well as last year on a DRZ... He is very talented and phisically fit rider, whom I hope will get out for some real international races.
Good observation :-)

We don't see many Aprilias in Canada, and even less in the hands of a good rider. The only ones I saw, the riders had all the gear, but no idea

It's a very motocross style of riding, and that seems to be the key good performance off road IMO.

What's his name?
