• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

pits empty ZipTy bikes out on stands

Bike report, well did a thorough inspection of Tys and Bobbys 450s,,,,the big news is the addition on both bikes of oil coolers, both mounted behind the right radiators. same config but 2 different cooler assemblies. Radiators are both beefed up and extentended. all the ip ty goodies were eveident, axle blocks, all the covers and mag plugs, brake stops, brake pedal ends, braking discs, zipty slaves, and more. It was @ 1800 and just a few folks were working, some Irishmen on a MX1 Kaw, and the Mechs of Max Antsie and Zach Osborne (Brits and American Mechs). The GP bikes are super sano. Saw some crazy michelin "special" cut sand tires. But overall the usual dirt bike trick stuff, nice Ohlins set ups etc

Oh shoot I forgot big FYI Both ZipTy bikes have Marzocchi forks!! I guess when you zoke factory mech access....

Robert- pics? we'll be there on Sunday to view all and especially cheer on Husky, Alessi and my man Ryan Hughes!

Dude our man Ryno finished 8th in the qualifying moto! he was hovering 10th made one pass and got the phillapaerts (drop out from P2) gift spot, he was riding really strong and beat alot of guys that are alot younger, he is 38. Alessi was fierce as was BT101 (townley), Nagl and AC222 were, we think going fast but not showing all the cards.
Got the full engineering tour of the MXV Aprilia factory bike, the lead engineer is a neighbor of an old friend of mine. The bike is more cool than I thought, and weighs less then all the bikes except the Martin Hondas, Coppins was riding it well.
The Vet moto1 was super cool with DR D winning over Daryl King in a full on fight for the whole moto, Nilsson the Swede was P3, Ty was P5!!
There was a cool group of Vets, local and former national and internationals.
I only took some phone shots (only of the ZipTy machines), was busy busy with the biz stuff, met with lots of old friends, aquaaintances, and alot of other folks. Bring cameras lots to see and foto. Mr Harden was also in the house.
Bobby G looked good out among the MX1 crowd but that pool is deep and filled with super fast guys, I dont know where he finished the afternoon qual moto (gate position), RN
