• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

TR650 Fat bar mounts almost done

CAD drawings are complete and metal getting cut now for fat bar mounts for the TR650. We will be building these stock height and 1/2 inch taller. Should be in production quite soon. Will be offering a nice price on package deals with nice black bars.

- Note there is also a group of parts associated with the bar mounts for allow various things mounted. Not ready to spill the beans but cool stuff for the adventure rider.
 
Here is the pix of the unanodiozed bar risers. We have these done and at the anodizers now so if you want some Email me. Stock height and 1/2 taller.

I was at MotoXotica today and held the stock TR650 bars with bar end weights in my hands. Could not believe how heavy they were! Those things are coming off pronto when I get mine :)
 
Done. Red and black right now. do have one set of clear ano. Stock and 1/2 inch taller.

Without handle bars - $65 (was hoping these would be cheaper but this is no chinese crap, built here in house out of aircraft 6061 aluminum CNC machined)

Will do A set with real nice black fatbars for $115 total. That's a set of bar risers in black or red, stock or 1/2 taller, with bars.

Awesome, I'll be ordering a set of these bad boys and probably the skid plate as soon as I actually get a TR.
 
I'd like a set of the risers in red also black bars whenever back in stock...

I already have your skid plate ..
 
Are these still available? I just installed a tall seat and need to more height to my handlebars.
