Hello, I recently picked up a TR650 with a motor that was seized. The bike has around 5400 miles. I added some penetrating oil in the cylinder bore by removing a spark plug and the engine broke loose fairly easily after twisting on the crank through the side cover plug. The engine which was tight and loosend up over the course of a few revolutions.. the PO said it locked up on him shortly after an oil change… the engine starts and idles good but there’s definitely something wrong with the bearings and the bike has a decent amount of pressure/foamy oil in the oil reservoir. I found an eBay engine that’s supposedly guaranteed To be good for fairly cheap. If there’s any tips or tricks on getting the engines swapped I’d be thrilled to hear it. I started earlier by removing the airbox, rad, draining fluids and loosening the rear frame. Thanks
