  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st torque specs...anyone!

I've searched all over our index and my memory stick manual and I can't find torque specs for 90% of all things on my '10 WR125. In english. I've tried that free download spec site and all it allows me to do is upload and there is NO grey download button. I need info on torque specs for rear shock, rocker arm, control arm etc.; entire linkage specs.

Can anyone assist? Deeply appreciated!

59 ft/lbs for the rocker arm to frame and swingarm(big bolts) and 35 for the smaller shock bolts...90 ft/lbs for the swingarm bolt....104 for the axle nut, but I think that is too much..... all this is based on prior year specs since they are non existent in 2011 manuals.

That has been my biggest gripe with Husky - no friggin shop manuals for the '09 and above wr125.

Even the torque values I have found don't include common values for the rear axle nut, linkage, etc.

104 ft/lbs for the axle nut? I have only been setting mine at 65 ft/lbs (what my KX250 called for.)

I have a pdf of the torque specs from an '08 WR125, around 8 pages.

I can't figure out how to attach a pdf into the reply...send me a pm.

Or tell me how to attach..or I could scan and insert but not sure how clear it would be.

It's been enough to get me by, if you can figure out what they are calling things.

I could send right after lunch...
