  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Top End Parts For 08 Te250

BigShooter

Husqvarna
B Class
Where would be the best place to find a replacement head for a '08 TE250, or the parts to upgrade to a 310? I'm hoping that's not a "good question".
If I can't locate them, or find them at a reasonable price (yeah, ha ha, right?), then I can tell you EXACTLY where to find every other part you need for one.
My right side exhaust valve broke off at the transition of the head and stem, and did about what you would imagine a loose valve in your combustion chamber would do.

Part #8000B0394
HEAD ASSY CYLINDER
ITEM: #HHU-8000B0394
$1,119.99

google shows it for around €700+ which is a bit more than $800.
good luck.

I did see that but fairly certain that’s not complete with valves. The 4 valves are almost cost of head. Valve guides appear to be included though. Maybe I read it wrong but believe that’s the case.

you may be right; the parts diagram is slightly ambiguous. but the description says "cylinder head complete" in all languages BUT english. so I dunno. might be worth it finding out.

good luck.

Doesnt come with valves its kind of misleading my guides are cracked rest of head is fine but cant buy seperate valves are ridiculous price got it down to 950 gbp for bare head and valves so think its getting parted out

Has anyone ever had the guides replaced found out a part number for them? Are they different to any other valve guides!!!
