• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

this should say Husqvarna on the side of it...

BMW should buy MV from Harley and slap a husky logo on this. i mean WOW, it is exotic, the right colors and has deep roots in husky. Yeah, it might not make financial sense but would that freaking rock or what :D

Just dreaming out loud.

what i like about these (and any other italian bikes) is.... they all fit my wee body ! mate is 120kg and i am 66kg and it fits me like a glove ... i told him to forget it ! he said, well you bought a te510 ffs ! lol...gorgeous bikes and truly sculpted round a race size biker !:) .....

don't get mixed up here fellas thats MV Augusta !!!

Mechanicca Verghera di Conte Augusta. It alone has a huge history of championships and brilliant mechanical art.
The red and silver is the original racing colors of MV Augusta, lets keep MV Augusta as it is, please. R

Duh :D I like that many of the huskys I owned had MV Agusta all over it. Seemed to make it that much nicer.

Really? My Husky has a MV Agusta manufacturing tag on it's frame, so it's an MV Agusta too.:D

just flyin the tricolore pride. keep MV as MV,,,,,but if allowed by the Bavarians it would be cool to have a Husky twin street bike just like the old Husky racers from the past.
MV Augusta being one of my favorite marques with mostly Ago but also Surtees (tops for me), Provini (dad of the Provini valve guy) and others at the helm.

I gotta admit that when I got my 610 home and took it apart I was thrilled to see the MV stickers all over it. I've always been an F4 fan (I thought the blue and silver one was drop-dead gorgeous) and if I sell my mom's house before I die of old age I'll be buying a Brutale for Eric.

Its cool to see a San Fran guy in the Isle. How did he do in the electric scooter class?

Ooh. I've always wanted one of those. I've never felt like I "fit" on a bike better. Its a liter bike built for us 5'6" 140 pounders!
