• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

So I have this customer, he is getting a Lectron for his GG. Thing is he is 70 something! I found out about him years ago when I saw his cool video and notice my Motosportz damper and thought it was cool. Reached out to him and had some dialog, cool dude who has been riding forever.

If you have not heard of him watch this vid. I have some other vids of him I'll post later that are recent on his GG and some of it is pretty gnarly and very rocky. How cool is that.

Thanks for posting that!
It's a privilege and a great motivation to have seen this and heard about these guys!
AWESOME!

Last time I rode with my friend he said hey I'm bringing my uncle, he didn't mention his uncle was a 73 year-old A rider. I ate his dust all day except when he wanted me in front on sketchy 2 way trails. It was a privilege and inspiration to ride with him. It would be a dream for me to still ride at 73.

Great vid.
Like the story about the kid who had $300 to spend on go-fast bits. They suggested "gas". Haha good call.

That is awesome. I hope I can still kick mine over in my 70s let alone ride like he does.

Not only is he still riding he is ordering after market parts for his new GG**************************************** That guy is awesome. I invited him out for a ride.

"Get on with riding or get on with death"

I rode with a 70 year old in Moab, he had little trouble staying with the group. Was very cool.

$300 worth of gas, lol yea. "I think I could ride with half a brain" - Some of us already do lol.

As I get older, I need stuff like this to remind me you're never too old, & I'm still just a puppy compared to some of the offroad masters.
Great clip!
