• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The Inaugural Blackwood100 Vinduro

Fun looking ride for sure! Back when I had a 430 Husky I thought you couldn't do much better for en endure motor.

that's the Wombat state forest and is a slick place to ride. we used to practise there 30 years ago...drive to Kowienguboora and park the truck then ride all morning before a lazy counter attack at the Mineral Springs Hotel then back out for another onslaught of shiny red clay tracks, bogs and hills. good times.. this ride brought some good memories, I hadn't been there for years. it was a bit of a drive tho...90 minutes:D:lol:. I love Australia....

My 83 430wr was like a tractor it would go anywhere. My buddy who helps guys who race netra hooked my son up with a AA rider and a top B rider for a ride. I asked if my son's girl friend could ride too. It was frowned upon but I told them she's a good rider. My son held his own on the wr 430 they admired that bike was pretty quick for an old gal. But the gal cut off the B rider when the trail narrowed. She rides a kx100. The b rider stalled his bike and his jaw dropped below the helmet.
They didn't have to baby sit either of the kids. I pushed my son to be fast and he pushed and taught his girl friend. She was a tomboy, very pretty and could ride dirtbikes, run chainsaws, do anything.

Great vid Surprize. Wish I could ride there but its a bit far from QLD! I love how the 400WR just ticks over and lugs through the snotty stuff. You pick good lines too!

Great video Surprise.
Looks like red plate ( vintage) rego rides are the go, fantastic trails.
It looks pretty dry for Victoria :)
