• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I just got an email from Jeff, he said they were sending me a new tank and a return ship label for my old tank. I had emailed him last week and said that my IMS tank had developed a leak. He said to send him a picture of it. When I took the tank off I discovered that my radiator air scoop had been rubbing very hard on the tank. I don't know if I didn't trim it enough or my radiator had bent slightly backword, but it had almost rubbed a hole in the tank. Slightly below that a crack developed and started to leak.

He said Hall's and IMS would both stand behind the tank. This is customer service at it's best. When I get the chance to do business with Hall's again, I most certainly will. I am attaching a pic of the tank. The part circled in red is the leak, the part circled in blue is where the plastic scoop rubbed on the tank. I don't know if one had anything to do with the other or not. Ken

Yep, that's why Halls is always mentioned in threads about top husky dealers.

I've always thought this when businesses that don't stand behind what they sell.
When a company does not honoring it's product. It is very detrimental.

I don't like to bad mouth anyone or business but if you feel you are getting burnt or have got burnt you end up telling people you feel will be affected by dealing with them.
Adversely effecting sales.
And Vis Versa . When Halls does things like this well....

Money can't buy that kind of advertising
