Awesome. All of it. As we have met I know how small you are and thats a big tall 400 pound bike you seem to have mastered. Very cool.
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Very nice, as always.
I, on the other hand just did a round trip to Idaho. Ice storms in the Columbia River Gorge both directions....not so much fun![]()

Great RR Tami, I've been going to ask you if your routes will change without the 610. Looks like you are off to a good star with the TR!
Thanks for another awesome trip report, I'd say you and Eric are living the dream.![]()

As always, a great ride report!
Thanks, jerbear! I'd say you're rightWhere you been, anyway?
Thanks, jfoulkrod
I've got to get my "Pozo on the 610's" report going before I forget what the hell happened that weekend![]()
Well, you know I like your RRs and I'm trying to keep up, but I need to ask what a Pozo is... Pozo-Pozo.....? I know I'm going to look dumb when you explain.![]()
Pozo is a riding area in the Las Padres National Forest near the central coast of CA. Eric and I went down there a few weeks ago on MLK Day for a few days. We camped and rode the trails on our 610's. It was beautiful and there was nobody there on a holiday weekend
I'm on my way home now from a 4-day weekend that included a bit of Death Valley...the rocky bit...so I've got ride reports piling up everywhere at the moment![]()
I am seemingly incapable of passing up a good cemetery...
