I haven't posted much in this section of the forums as I usually hang out in the 610 Section.
You may have guessed I have a 610, It's an 2009 SM and I really enjoy riding the bike.
I've recently got into doing Green Lanes, single track etc but the bike isn't particularlly suited for the riding I want to do.
Have already fitted some TE Wheels and front Caliper to make it better, but the suspension isn't right and wants to chuck me off at every rut. So I've been looking at changing the bike.
I like Huskies so not looking to change brand unless I need to.
There's a 2010 TE510 that I've seen on Autotrader and I'm going to have a look at it on Saturday. Possibly part ex the 610 against it for a fair price.
It looks really clean from the pictures, almost immaculate.
It does have 3000 Miles on the clock, should that be a concern ?
I've seen a fair few posts about the 510 and I have a couple of niggles about getting one.
Mainly the fact everyone says its really vibey, and the close ratio box.
I don't mind the service interval for the oil changes, can do them in the garage in no time and oil isn't that expensive.
I don't ride much, if at all on the road on a day to day basis, so won't be clocking up the miles.
I've got a car for commuting, but I will need to ride on the road to get to the offroad sections.
I guess the distance to the offroad sections could be 10 - 70 Miles along dual carriageways.
Am I going to hate it ? or is it just a case or regearing a little to be able to ride at 65 -70Mph
My brother has a 690 Enduro R and he keeps telling me to save up some cash and get one...
What are your opinions ?
I know most people may say get a 610 TE but there really aren't many out there.
