  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Te310 Valve/cylinder Head

Jonnygas

Husqvarna
C Class
Hi all recently got a 11 te310 with a seized motor, not a problem quick rebuild piston and be good to go I thought yeah right!!Prices for valves and a cylinder head(cracked guides) are extortionate really desperate for a good second hand head or will consider a whole engine anybody out there help, asked usual channels but no joy really want this husky to be saved!

Just mailed them doesn't include valves and said husqvarna dont allow them to send parts outside the us weird! Think I will be better off parting the bike out and buying a runner shame as 2011 is a new bike to me!!

Has anyone ever had the guides replaced? found a part number for them rest of head is fine anything out of the norm???

I do not think the valves are included if you look at how the numbers are.
yeah... unfortunately, I'm gonna hafta agree. The exhaust guide(s) has it's own "curly bracket" indicating it's included with the head- but the exhaust valves aren't.

weird that the cam caps are included- but, like the guides, you can't get 'em separately either.

I've heard that after-market stainless steel valves were available at one time.

Hi bud need guides myself machine shop said not a problem fitting but cant find for love or money cand believe a £6 part has been superseded by a £800 cylinder head! Pn 8000A6353 if you find anything!!!

A company like Kibblewhite probably has something that will work. I know they have valve blanks on their site.
I have a worn out head that I'm gonna take to a local shop.

Have matched up to a yzf guide as close as it's going to get needs a bit taking out the middle but machine shop will sort that spent the weekend trying to hunt some te guides down been all over the world! Must say has put me off huskeys prices are mad!

Wasnt just the head had barrel redone crank etc basically rebuilt whole engine and it soon mounts up 4 valves were nearly 400quid alone! Still having problems with the bike its so temperamental!

Hey Jonnygas,
I've got TE310 2012 with damages engine. Luckily the head is good but there's no valves neither guides there. I [after a very long and painful process] found the OEM guides but there is NO way I pay $600 for the four valves I need. So please please can you send me the exact measurement of the valves, so I'll try to find blanks or some other valves that can fit in mt cylinder head. Basically I just need the stem diameter of both intake and exhaust valves.
Cheers!
