    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

TE250 6 port vs 12 port injector

Does anyone know whether the fuel flow is the same for the 6 port vs the 12 port injector? I know that Husqvarna only sells it as a kit with the ecu, but if the flow were the same, then you should be able to use the 12 port injector with the stock ecu. Does anyone know much about the Kawasaki injector? 49033-0011
 
I am using the 12 port injector with the stock ECU. It may run a tad richer now with a tad more punch. But, its very slight and it could just be me telling myself it has more punch to justify the purchase. It certainly wasn't a miracle cure for anything. I bought the combo from Halls, but the bike would simply not run with the new ECU regardless of the amount of iBeat or TPS tinkering. Halls nicely took the ECU back, but I kept the injector since it was used.
 
I am using the 12 port injector with a stock ecu also. I used ibeat to lean the co1 and co2 settings just a little and it works great.
 
So I pulled my injector out to see why it's not getting any fuel and my injector is a 4 port. The tip had some slimy film over the ports. I am hoping that this thing will run with the 12 port injector.
