Good Evening Everyone,
I read in a thread either on Cafe Husky or Supermoto Junkie that there were some issues with earlier models of the the TE ECU. The fix was that Husky sent out a reflash for the ECU. I wanted to know if anyone is knowledgeable about flashing the EPROM inside an ECU like ours. I am wondering because I have heard that the TE ECU is way better the the SMS. In my mind that must mean the timing curve and fuel map are both different. I was hoping that the powercommander V would have timing tables for the 630, unfortunately they have not come out with that model yet. I feel that Husky and the Dealers are not seeing the same page here. My dealer does not know how to use Ibeat. They have new mechanics and when I asked they just said I would have to leave the bike with them for a day and they would try to make adjustments. The real down side is they want $75.00 an hour and a three hour minimum. I do not understand why Husky would not let the dealer reflash the ECU to a TE version and let us deal with the emissions issues. Please let me know what you think. I have contacted four other programming companies who reflash car and truck ECU's. They responded with a quick "Not Interested"
