    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey guys,

i'm from germany so dont hate to much on my english skills :)

I've got a problem, my husky te doesnt want to start when i push the electric starter button.

Ignition on -> Start EFI with Red Button -> Press Electric Start Button --> Nothing (no sounds, nothing)

Changed the Startingrelais today, but the TE is still not running.

And its kinda hard to start it with kick starter, i need about 20 kicks. But then when it's running, it's running great, no problems.

i just can't start her properly.

I did some meassurements to -> Pushed the electric starter button: There is voltage on the connecting pins for the starting relais, so there is no "broken cable"
Relai is working properly, i put 12v voltage right on it and it "pulled on".

Do you have any ideas what i can do?

I'd check the 2 (larger) Fuses under the left side pannel. Your relay may be turning on but there's no power once turned on...

i have been having hot start issues also,
slowly working my way through systems.
have noticed that the pump relay has wear marks on it thus making a tiny hole in relay case,
i replaced this relay and that fixed the irregular priming by pump.
i'm going to replace the decompress mechanism and re shim the valves,
i'll let you know how i get on

Check that the clutch wires on the handle under the cover are connected. I had exactly the same problem and it turned out one of the wires was disconnected. It would allow me to kick start but not electric start.
