I have a 2009 te 250 with 310 upgrade , the bike has given me trouble for 18 months
And of that 18 months it has been at my local garage and also a main dealer in Belfast
First the fuel pump was changed and cost a total of 400e including labour it ran for 20km then while at 70 km went into same out of fuel / starved of fuel for about I km kicking and splut u know the score ! Took fuel tank off fiddled around started got home , next day went in trails started ran about 10 min then same starved fuel scenario died took off tank etc but wouldn't start , plugged out temp sensor and no joy , next day started touch throttle and it wil die instantly , let it an hour or 2 start let it run and touch throttle and it dies , back to dealer and six months later no joy , asked for sensors changed they comply still no joy , have bike shipped to Belfast nearest dealer , 3 months later bike is back will run but touch throttle and will die , facing a large bill for man hours parts and bike still won't run am fairly sick of it , bought a Honda xr650r I know it's a tank and over kill but I can't bare it no more , kick start and carb and road legal !!! Now my local garage want to convert to carbs should I let them do it ??? Yours truly a husky hater
