Hi everyone
On my 2011 TC449, the previous owner installed a Polisport headlight and wired the light using a simple two-way toggle switch. One fused wire from +batt, one wire to ground/headlight.
I was looking to add an LED tailight and thought running a twin-wire setup from the headlight switch to the tail light would work... well not quite.
Actually its working in a backwards kind of way. When the switch is OFF, the headlight is OFF but tailight is ON, then if switched on the reverse happens. (like an AC three-way switch)
I checked the voltage across the switch in the OFF position and I get a -12v reading, when switched ON I get a +12V reading.
Any idea what is happening? was the headlight system installed correctly?
Thanks
