• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All in all they did a good job in honoring the kids in uniform. As for the racing, it was pretty Super-er.

Wildomar's WP40 w/another steller top 5 showing! In the main, he came from waaaay back to pull it out. Swallowed up Tomac and Barcia to do it.

Scott Champion earned a 7th in the 250 Main - a great showing for the kid from Sun City, CA.

Temecula's Kevin Weisbruch was back in the saddle but looking a little uncomfortable. Maybe not feeling all too condifdent after having emergency trach surgery.

Reed with another gnarly crash. Hope he's back on the bike next week.

The JS7/RV2 battle, while it lasted, was pretty awesome.

If there was ever a doubt, CWebb and K-Roc are the real deal.

Pics to follow

As promised, some pics. Didn't take too many but here's some of what I did take.

As always, the Legends and Heroes stuff is always cool. Bill Silverthorn was there sporting a Husky ball cap - of the Italian variety.

Always gotta get a shot of a Husky.

K-Dub is retired and, yet, still has a bike provided/maintained by Honda Geico.

WP40's pit. Note the Tech's a pro-like pit area and two bikes. This is NOT the same pit crew/type of equipement WP had at A1.

Kevin Weisbruch's ECC backed KX. Note the cammi graphics. All of the bikes had cammi-style graphics.

Brayton's Yamaha. Again, the cammi pattern.

The track. It had some MONSTER whoops.
