  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi just a concern having trouble with the stickers comming off. Why it it so have had trouble whith them since got bike. Was told that they are done in the factory, so what does that mean. Why why o why do Thay come off then. That is why you buy a new bike, not to just have trouble free riding for a few years and look half decent when you do ride it.

What year model TE250 are we talking about?
If its 2010 and up the only stickers that could come off are the ones on the rear side panels and possibly the one on the front guard, but all of mine have held on really well, until I got up close and personal with the pressure washer, then they went flying across the backyard!!
If it's a 2009 all of them will fall off wheeling it out the dealers door as they used really crap glue, here in Australia a lot of 2009 stickers were replaced under warranty

It is a 2011 te250 meo so you can see why I am annoyed. I know if you fall off or rubb close to a tree it might happen but just brushing the leaves as you go around corners, come on this should not make them come off or should they.

I don't know what your talking about! My Meo looks like it did the day it came out of the showroom!! ( really wish the emoticons worked with iPad )
That's probably because it's sat in my lounge room for 2 years and never been ridden!

Sooner or later any sticker kit is going to come away from the bike, dirt getting in behind the stickers, washing the bike and you moving around on the bike as you ride it are all going to contribute to wear, and the stickers lifting. The quality of the sticker kit is also a big factor.

I have 20 hrs on a 2012 TC250 with a factory sticker kit, and with wear and tear the factory kit is already lifting and looking worn, it happens when riding the bike, not much you can do about it.

The best sticker kit I've ever had is the custom kit made by ringmaster images here in OZ that is on my 449 at the moment, that kit is so tough that after 50 hrs not one sticker has lifted.
Quality sticker kits are well worth the money.
