Just want to spread the word on importance of checking valve clearances. Purchased my "new to me" 2007 Husky this spring. Found it was developing some starting difficulties soon after owning and getting familiar with bike. Clearances checked...out of spec...resolved. Put around 30 plus hours on it this summer and began to have difficulty starting again. Checked clearance myself (hard to get TDC with Rekluse) and found out of spec on 3 of 4 valves...brought in and was reshimmed with opinion a valve is starting to go. Now...all I have to do is literally LOOK at the starter button and she fires right up. Time to start putting away cash for a rebuild because this bike (blue plated) is WAY too much fun to even think about throwing a leg over any other
Thanks for all of your help guys in guiding me towards the resolution of this problem. K-Tec Cycle in Kingston Ontario, specifically Ross, are great NO NONESENSE guys to get things back up and running. Rubber side down all****************************************
