• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Paul Lindsey is running away with this game this year. Can anyone match his 3 wins? Give it a shot and maybe win $50 worth of 7602 gear.

Dungey Roczen Anderson Pourcel 7th (wait... isn't this last weeks results?)
Martin, Davalos, Stewart and Ozzy Osborne 5th (again... if he runs; I hear Black Sabbath all ride huskys)

I predict I will be there with my 12 year old son, Adam. I'll post up some pics from the event. I think Dungey gets a bad start and Anderson takes the 1 spot! Roczen 2nd and Dungey 3rd.
Davalos, Martin, Stewart
With the timezone advantage, I should be able to update my picks live without you knowing right?

Since 3 of you have picked Dungey, Roczen then Anderson for the podium I should probably remind everyone that only the first person to correctly pick the podium wins.

I can't keep up with the lites! Any husky blokes in them?

Osborne 5th I meant hel be on his 5th stubby by the time the 250s r dun. Pourcel rides like he's had 9 beers. :)

hunh. Pourcel qualified 17th, started 17th and finished 18th. weirdly consistent for him (but slow). Dungey qualified 9th; Jeremey Martin qualified 14th... both finished first. hmmmmm. pretty obvious that qualifying ain't racing.

Trey started 15th and got to 5th- wow. And I don't like him- but... wow.
Chad's charge from 13th to 6th was impressive- until your realize Eli went from 20th to 7th. whew- if he ever gets his starts down....

Ozzy Osbourne was a no-show. shit.

3rd week in a row for Dung, Rox and Anderson running order.

To me KR looked fast enough, but RD is so solid he's hard to beat. His biggest mistakes lately are missing a triple or losing the rear end a little. He really is the best and deserves the bonuses and another title IMO.
