What a day here in MN today.. Was nice and warm, sunny, no wind and one of the first days to reach 60 since about 5 months ago.
Told one of my good friends I'd give him a ride up to the dealership so that he could pick up a new white toy. He allready has a Yamy WR450F for offroad and a R1 for hooligan antics but he was wanting to add a cruiser to ensure his garage was overpacked along with his snowmobile, jet ski, 3 top end mountain bikes and 2 road bikes. I've yet to figure out how he keeps the wife from serving the papers with all his toy purchases???
Unfortunately I could not resist at all and ended up with a new one too (grey metalflake). Then we called a couple of more friends to tell them about the hot deals going down and two more came up to Heinens and purchased the same bike. So a bunch of good friends ended up with 4 new M109s today. Two were taken off the floor and drove home (mine and the guy mentioned above) and the other two (black and yellow with white stripe) will be picked this week.
Guess I'll have to pass on the SM610 this summer and just ride the TE510.. was a very difficult decision but decided the M109 would do some nice steet duty and make it easier to keep my DL.
even though I drove my little red convertible to take in the nice day there was no holding back on this deal.
Got in 110 miles of easy break-in after coordinating transportation of my red convertable back home. It was difficult to keep the M109 under 75 mph on the freeway.. it is one smooth as silk cruiser.
