As the title states I'm in need of a gasket for my clutch inspection cover. The obvious answer is Halls, problem is I'm on my second incorrect gasket from them after providing the correct part number from the parts schematic they provide. Not trying to flame Halls as I'm confident they will make it right and they are a valuable asset to the Husky community. Simply curious if there are alternatives or anyone else has experienced difficulty sourcing this gasket?
I've searched on Ebay and it seems that Athena makes them but they're all in the UK and the price with shipping is silly. Tried ordering the gasket from parts unlimited for a later WR 360 (Part number is the same thru 360 model run) and was surprised to receive what were rubber O-rings. So no dice there.
It's now going on two weeks being unable to ride after I installed a new clutch and I'm really itching to get out there. What are your collective thought on using a semi-drying sealant (yamabond no. 4) as an alternative to a paper gasket in the interim?
