• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Some useless information --

Just had my one Husky 610te --09 show a error code on the neutral green light on the dash --3 fast blinks and one long one --then repeats itself. Took the battery terminal off - still the same when i connected it again.could not find anything on the net and my manual does not show the error codes--
Put the I-Beat software on and it showed --Tilt Sensor --?????????? My TE does not have a tilt sensor. Took the bypass Tilt sensor plug off --replaced it with another one from another bike -- No Errors -- Took the old bypass switch--cleaned the connectors and put it back --End of problem --

Not useless if you don't already know that Huskies hate wet and or dirty joints.
Joints looked pretty dry and water does not get under the seat where the plug is on my Te. Could be that the tilt sensor may be on its way out --will keep a eye on it. At least i know what the problem was. My 06 SM does not have any tilt sensor on it ---

I thought you said the TE does not have a tilt sensor?? Or it does but it is by-passed? Surely it would make more sense for a TE to have such a thing so that if it is dropped it cuts out?

Hi Dom --the TE just has a plug with a resistor plugged in to fool the management system -where the SM has the Tilt sensor plugged in.
I think they use the same wiring harness for the SM and The TE by the lookis of it -- Dont know why it is there,??? you can unplug it and the neutral light will give a error code when you switch on the ignition--starts and runs as normal --plug it back and then it is sorted --

So I just had the same 3 dots, one dash error code on my 2011 TE630, but the cooling fan is coming on at the same time.

Anyone know if the error codes have changed through the model years and, any 630s with the same error?

I've been riding in snowy conditions, over heating should not be a problem>

Error codes cannot be read on the TE630 by light blink frequency/pattern like some earlier models. iBeat is the only way to find out what the ECU doesn't like.
