• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

    Thanks for your patience and support!

...he wants me to come help develop for riding. He says several hundred acres!!! Then sends me this picture and says this is only the tip of the iceberg!!! He just shot to the top of the friend pile. :D Will be great for bad weather riding (fall/winter) as it is in the dez and any rain actually makes it better. I can hardly wait to get over there and free ride it...

Hey Kelly. Need any help:D

Just got to figure out how to tell the wife I am going on a 2000 mile plus road trip to go ride my dirt bike:eek:

Wow that looks wicked! Is it eastern Wa? Looks very similar to the dez stuff up here.

As cool as it looks in the pix I'm guessing it is littered with jagged rocks. Might take a while to clear a nice loop.

uhhhh, jagged rocks sound like a nice loop to me

have I been in Nevada too long?

Kelly...when and if this happens, I would like to help clear things out and build trails. I would also help maintain it for a small fee...to ride it!

kelly if this happens you know i am in!
any help you need just call. I got ATVs that can do
quick work on trails.
S.:cool::cool:

that terrain looks easy to develop compared to the property we maintain here near the ATL. We have resorted to making 60" wide trails with the Takeuchi 150 skid steer as it's alot easier then building the single track by hand as it's too tight to get any machinery into and make it flow like single track. Anyhow, looks like you have some fun ahead of you. I like playing with the farm/heavy equipment to keep up the trails almost as much as I like riding them.
