• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I'll be there,it's a don't miss event if your in the NY,PA,NJ western Ma andCN.The swap meet end of it seems to be growing too.

Norman, it did rain fairly hard about 1-3pm , i think alot like myself got there at 10am or earlier & got a bunch of riding in early.

Til it rained the grass track was dry & awesome, main MX track was muddy in spots & dusty dry in others. Woods loops where great, but again
some of the non tree covered section were dusty.

I waited til it started to rain to get some pics & not many, but it was a real good turn out again. I ran into Joe, Drew, WRX & Pat Moroney's gang,
& bunch of regulars & some i haven't seen for a few years.

Alex Snoop & the crew changed up the wood loops from earlier years & were a good mix. I grabbed Drew as soon he got there & we rode, both
MX tracks & the long woods loop (swapping Huskys again like we did a the 2013 Husky Gathering).

Still another great ride , even if thought it rain, & for most shorten it some, it's getting bigger & better every year.

Pat Moroney's shop watch dog, LOL, doing he's best to look like Kookie the Wonder Dog of course he's on a Husky

Another thing which i thought was cool was a bunch of times while Drew & I were doing the woods loop, was there was at least 5-6 Vintage Huskys on
the course at the same time. Just like the old days

Got in enough riding before the rain came.A big thanks to Ed and Al for putting on such a great FREE event.

It was a blast!! We got there early and rode quite a bit before the rain. We rode one last woods loop during the rain but under the tree's was still nice. A BIG thanks to Ed and Al for putting on this event. Great trails and track too.

Couldn't get the Husky fixed in time. But had a 74 Can Am MX1 with me and had a blast on the grass track. Thanks to Alex and all others involved.
