• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

SMS 630 New Seat

Nice.
Wow though, it sure looks like Bundy's seat (seat concepts).
How much is the Renazco seat?

I really like those suede covered seats I've seen a time or two.

I've had James do quite a few seats for me in the past. He always does a great job.
That seat kills about $400 by the time you get it shipped. Suede is a little more.
I've had suede versions too. They hold you in place very well but aren't so good when
they get wet. So I just get vinyl now. I bet Buddy's seat looks like a Renazco's seat.
James has been doing these for a long time. If you look at how the seat is installed,
tight on the pan. That's what a custom installer gets you. The Seat Concepts looks
great for the money but I'd have to install a few to get them this nice.
I'm sure either is a nice improvement over stock.

The seat concepts seats are a breeze to install. I did mine in 30 min and it was my 1st try. It came out perfect! I'm sure the Renazco are 1st class, but so are seat concepts seats!

Thanks for prompting me. Went for a short ride today and am sick of the standard plank, so after 6,000+kms have ordered a Seat Concepts replacement. $201AUD - bargain, should have done it straight away.
