  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Smr 510 Rear Fender Part Number

MuskyHusky

Husqvarna
A Class
Hey I have a 2009 smr 510 and was wanting the all white fender with the tail light cavity built into it like the one in this picture but I’ve searched everywhere for a part number and can’t find one I’ve called halls they didn’t know either. Anybody got a clue? I’ve been trying to find this fender for over a year now lol

  1. Might be 8000H1705, (don't hold me to it though!) that's off the 2010 SMR and 2016 SWM SM500...

Thanks I guess I’ll give that a try if no one else knows the answer. That does look like a different part number from what I usually see could be it but the only swm models I could find that use that fender are the 2016 enduro models the sm seems to use the black drop down one, do you know if there’s anywhere in the us to order swm parts?

Ok I went ahead and bought a tail light off eBay so I didn’t have to wait for one from swm part number is 8000H1418 same part number as swm so I’m guessing it’s the right light. Someone messaged with with the 2010-2014 te 250 310 rear fender part number being 80b0h1404 and I’ve found that same part number listed for some 510s so I guess I’m going to give that a shot first unless someone tells me differently beforehand. I’ll post an update and pictures when I get the parts

Hey you wouldn’t happen to know if these side panels will fit my bike and if they are available for purchase anywhere would you? I mean I know you have to switch to a swm seat to use their plastics just didn’t know if this particular set would work

The bolt holes look the same. I would think that all the holes in the frame and subframe would be the same since they are using everything from husky. One would hope. Those side panels are pretty sweet.

The plastics will bolt up, it's common for SWM folk to fit husky seat and plastics so they can use a Safari tank on the RS500. As mentioned a new seat will be required. You'll need a whole set of side plastics (radiator shroud, tank bit, exhaust covery bit) since the join lines are different to the Husky's. The 2019 SWM's use different plastics and seat to both the 2016 SWM's and Huskys.

Yep those are the right part numbers obviously doesn’t wrap around the frame on the right side for the dual exhaust on the 09 but otherwise the same. thanks for everyone’s helpB2A9E0D5-2F45-420F-9D3D-7B06B3B7A638.jpeg 4ADBCCFA-5471-44FA-93F6-40F5638C30B8.jpeg 6EEC724E-2862-4BA6-8455-7C6067DF7471.jpeg
