• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Smallest transparent tank for later-model WR/CR125?

Radbuster

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hi guys, I have a problem of riding with too much gas nowadays.

Thanks to the Lectron, my '11 WR125 drinks alot less than the 9.5liter/2.5gal can provide.

Also, the stock black tank makes it almost impossible to see how much is in there.

For most of my riding, except for some special races, I'd be fine with a 5liter/1.3gal, preferrably transparent.

I'll blame Kelly for this ridiculous problem :-)

Anybody else have this problem, and what are the options?

I run the 3 gallon ims and only put what I need in it for races (usually 1.5 gallons).

I filled mine from empty and put tick marks on the outside every .5 gallon so I know how much to fill up/I used.

I just started racing a full series this year for the first time and I topped off the tank at the first race without even thinking about it. I ran the first 3 rounds before I had to put more fuel in it

Good ideas!
Number plate thing isn't a bad idea but a little unconventional :-)
I'm leaning to the IMS, do the markings, only fill to minimum and use those foam bits in the tank to prevent sloshing around.
