• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hi Guys,

I have slowly started modding my 630. PU kit is done.
FMF pipe on its way and I am still considering a PC or a JDJetting Power Surge 6.
However I also want to change my sprocket size. Wondering what you guys are rocking? :)

I have the FMF on my TE 630 with 3.0 gearing, 15/45. I am 100% happy with it for dual sport use. I will not be changing it. Others with a SM like yours will have better gearing advise. I have iBeat and have the bike running good with it currently at 105/110/120. If you have iBeat it seems a PC, JD tuner etc. is not needed. Do some reading in the iBeat and TE 630 dyno threads and you may forget about a piggy back efi tuner.

Yeah, my plans have changed slightly now the Arrow kit is available again. I'll probably just buy this and the sprocket. I think this is the easiest and maybe even cheapest option (I can order without VAT). But thanks for the sprocket advice!

Yeah so i have the Twin Titanium Arrow kit with ECU from special parts catalog, the P/U kit, put 5 2" holes in air on cover, and have the Bazzaz Zf-I Tuner, and I run a 42T supersprox red rear sprocket and I live in the Greater Los Angeles Area and my SM630 has been sole mode of transportation for last 3-4 years and couldn't have been happier with my choice I like cruise 70 miles an hour on 5400 RPM and 6100 RPM for 80 miles an hour!!! Hope that helps

Thanks for the info mate! I think I will copy your setup. It seems you use your back for the same purposes as I do. :)

I'm running supersprox 16/44 Arrow Exhaust Gutted air box with power commander and autotune upgraded my rear rim to warp 9 5"

So what was the motivation to go up so much in the rear if you were just going to go up in the front too?

I run a 15/41, which is almost exactly the same ratio but lets me keep the chain guide/case saver...
