• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I would like to know what settings [numbers] you all are running on your 510 with the power up kit and a single Arrow exhaust with the JD tunner. I took the bike to the dealer after doing the power up kit and had it put on the ibet system to have everything set.thanks for the suggestions.

hey neighbor I am in Dayton
I have a 2010 510smr and it depends on what kind of a tune up you want
the beauty of the JD unit is you can set it up for pretty much any thing you want
you can set it up for millage or for full on race or any thing in between mine is set up
right now with a soft tune for put-ten around and millage i am even running a 16 tooth
primary 60 mph and 4300 rpm in 6 gear
 
DO you ever go to the cart track in Camden.I would like to set the bike up for race.Do you have any suggestion.

we could hook up and put the air/fuel mixture gage on your bike and dial it in
I would like to go to the cart track some time but I dont race I'am a geaser
60 years old i just work on them my race days are behind me now
BUT i have set up many race bikes If i can help let me know

pm sent.60 is not that old i am 50.What is that saying age is a state of mind. It is what the body keeps telling the mind that gets you. I would greatly appreciate your help dialing the bike in.
